>The Poetry Hour-Scattered Dreams

Introducing my new Thursday Meme…

Rose petals scattered on the grass
Like frenzied lips kissing glass
Whispers soft as a drop of wine
Like silky threads of two hearts entwined
Blood rushing through their veins
Like flowers emerging in the rain
Lingering lips leave teasing traces
Like a fantasy in far off places
Lust building in their heat
Like a body mashed beneath your feet
Scratches left from wild throes
Like a lioness against her foes
Walls echoing with every sound
Like lovers lost in lust bound
Climax breaking through the seams
Like a childs scattered dreams.
