>Have It Your Way…or so they say

>Never my way…….I usually do Supah’s PINT, and another great new meme started by Kristi over at Live and Love Out Loud, but I’m having a bit of blogger’s block. It’s not that I need material, it’s just putting it together.  I think what I really need is a bottle of the hard stuff glass of w(h)ine, and a quiet moment to reflect…

I have a bad habit of going through a drive through instead of slapping something quick together when we have a late night out. Me being the picky eater that I am, always, ALWAYS has to have it made to order. It doesn’t matter where we go, I will decide that I just must have something that has to have stuff left off. Every.Freaking.Time. No matter which fast food joint I choose.

This is coming back to bite me in the butt. They must be on to me. Even when I switch vehicles, they still can’t seem to ever get it right. I’ve even blamed it on GC for screwing it up and not telling them. But, I’m really beginning to believe it must be me. Taco Bell leaves the fiesta sauce on. McDonalds removes my bacon and puts the wilted wrong lettuce on. Burger King leaves the tomatoes on, and Hardees never takes off the ketchup, mustard and pickles.

Seriously, what is so hard about only putting mayo, slivered onions, and shredded lettuce (where available) on my food without removing the stuff that makes it unique (like the BACON, people)?

Just call me The Drive-thru Pariah Queen from this day forward. Uhmmm-kay?

I’ve got the whine, Who’s got the cheese?

  1. >I had a friend in college who used to do the same thing. We would go to Del Taco and she would order crazy stuff like bean and cheese burrito, no beans. Drove me nuts. Drove her nuts too because they NEVER got it right. Ever. Think maybe they do actually do it on purpose!

  2. >I worked at Taco Bell drive through in high school. I was the drive through queen.Whenever someone special ordered, I had to type it in on a touch screen. SLOOOOOOOOOW.So I can see how it might happen occasionally. but every time? What the heck?

  3. >I'm a plain cheeseburger girl myself and can't stand ketchup, mustard, onions and pickles. Don't worry though. I've got the cheese. Did you remember to bring the w(h)ine? I could really use a bottle myself! lolI'll see you for Wordless Wednesday tomorrow. Right? :(Kristi, Live and Love…Out Loud@TweetingMama

  4. >Lettuce, onions, and mayo? That's kinda gross lady! I love pickles and mustard — and must have both fiesta salsa AND ranchero sauce. Yum!
