I don’t know about you, but I’ve already been to four cookouts and summer is just getting started. Three of those cookouts were potluck, and here is one of my go-to recipes. It always goes over well and is easy, too. Just dump all the ingredients in the crockpot and set it on low overnight. The longer they cook, the better they taste.

Ingredients:
- 3 lbs frozen meatballs
- 2 medium onions, cut in wedges
- 1 12 oz bottle of beer* (I used Rolling Rock)
- 1 1/2 c ketchup
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp salt and pepper
- 1/4 c brown sugar
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 12 hours.
This recipe makes approximately 96 meatballs. It is safe to serve to children since the alcohol cooks out. Enjoy!
I’ll have to give these a shot! We have tons of cookouts and I’m always looking for new recipes that no one has had yet. These also look pretty simple which is always a plus

Love it! Whenever we go to potlucks, I always throw frozen meatballs in the crockpot with sauce, but I’m going to try this recipe. Everyone always loves the meatballs. I always come home with an empty crock.
I agree. These were the first to go at the cookout!
